Founded in 1944, the
Commercial Finance
Association has nearly 300 member chapters located throughout
the United States, Mexico, and Canada. CFA members include a diverse
collection of lending institutions that range from international banks to
independent entrepreneurial finance companies. CFA members pride themselves
on bringing quality content, valuable contacts, and industry expertise to
the asset based lending and factoring industries.
The
Construction Financial Management
Association is the only non-profit organization dedicated to
serving the construction financial professional. Established in 1981,
CFMA's General Members represent all types of contractors - including
generals and subs - as well as developers, construction managers, achitects,
engineers, principals, and material and equipment suppliers. Associate
members include the accounting, insurance, surety, software, legal, and
banking specialists who serve the construction industry.
The International Factoring
Association's (IFA) goal is to assist the factoring community
by providing information, training, purchasing power, and a resource for the
Factoring community. Membership is open to all banks and finance companies
that perform financing through the purchase of invoices or other types of
accounts receivables.

Surety
Bond Associates is the leading provider of SBA backed bonds in
the Mid-Atlantic region. The SBA created a Surety Bond Guarantee Program in
1971, which is designed to provide small, emerging, minority and women owned
contractors access to contract opportunities and to assist them in getting
bonds that can't be obtained through the standard surety market.
The
American Factoring
Association (AFA) was founded in 2009 with the sole purpose of
educating the public and policymakers on the availability of working capital
for financing America's small businesses and to conduct efforts in support
of increasing working capital financing.
